The project management meeting within the RESCUE project was held on the 8th of June 2020 in Novi Sad, at the Faculty of Technical Sciences. The 27 people from partner institutions were in attendance. At the beginning of the meeting prof. dr Boris Dumnić greeted the attending guests on behalf of the Faculty of Technical Sciences team members and introduced the main meeting topics on the agenda.

The main emphasis of the meeting was placed on the public procurements that were performed within the 3rd period and in the wake of the global pandemic of the COVID-19 virus. A representative from each project partner stated that the most important procurement procedures were carried out or are in the process of being finished. Despite the current situation regarding the pandemic, the general conclusion was that most of the activities are on track or will be caught up by the end of the following period.

The first technical part of the meeting was a short presentation by prof. dr Boris Dumnić and prof. dr Damir Šljivac. The presentation was about key characteristics of the biodiesel production system and biodiesel generators in partner buildings. After the technical session of the meeting, all attendees were invited to appropriate refreshments (lunch break) and cocktail, where they discussed the further project-specific details. After the lunch break, prof. dr Dragan Milićević and prof. dr Denis Pelin gave the analysis of the activities on partner BEMS building. It was concluded that used protocols and standards in partner institutions need to be harmonized, due to unique and joint data supervision on the project website. The analysis of the tasks that are ahead of the project team members in the 3rd and 4th period was the last segment of the meeting. Additionally, it was concluded that the study visit is an integral part of the project, and it would be very important to organize the visit at the beginning of the next project period.

The next partners meeting will be organized on the 30th of June 2020 in Slavonski Brod.
