On-line meaurement data aquisition system

Five photovoltaic modules with different technologies (polycrystalline, monocrystalline, thin-film CIS (copper-indium-selenium) thin - and high efficiency amorphous silicon single crystal with black frame). Halogen lighting, which replaced sun, is the light source. Wavelength halogen lighting closely matches the wavelength of the Sun. The intensity of the light source is changing, with the help of a regulated AC power. In other words, conditions that are typical for a particular season are created. One module of each technology is placed on the roof of Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Infromation Techmology in Osijek.

There is a resarch PV power plant with 2 strings of 20 modules - polycrystalline and monocrystalline also placed on the roof. These strings of modules are connected to the power inverter Kaco 12.0TL.

Alongside modules, equipment for measuring the radiant sunlight and weather conditions (ambient temperature, relative humidity and wind velocity) are placed there too. Testing of modules are performed recording pv characteristics, indicating how temperature and shading influence on different technologies as well as what is the surface of modules required for a given power output.
