The implementation of the 50 kW Photovoltaic power plant at the roof of the Mechanical Institute building (one of the FTN buildings) is almost operational.
The facility has 180 PV panels and one three-phase inverter. The Photovoltaic power plant will be connected to the distribution power grid and the smart FTN building energy management system. This PV system will supply the Mechanical Institute building with free RES energy, which will affect a decrease in the carbon footprint of the FTN and reduce the expenses of this building. Also, the energy security of the building will be significantly increased.
We are satisfied to announce that the 50 kW PV system at the FTN will be finished and operational shortly, as well as the other facilities within the RESCUE project in which installation is in progress.
