RESCUE project was presented at the first regional exhibition and conference event, named EV Days, during 9-10th September at Novi Sad Fair. The event gathers the automotive companies, local and regional authorities, academic society and students, as future engineering staff. The main topic of the EV Days event was electromobility which represents a new global technological solution for transport using sustainable energy and energy efficiency systems. The regional event was organized by the Faculty of Technical Sciences Novi Sad, which is the lead partner of the RESCUE project, together with company Ninamedia and Radio-Television Serbia as media partner.
During the two days event, the RESCUE representatives promote the project at the exhibit part of the EV Days, which attracted great attention and interest from visitors. The RESCUE exhibition was equipped with promoting materials, as well as with electric vehicles funded by the project. High attendance of the event ensured the promotion among academic society, students and company representatives, whereby all previous achievements within the RESCUE project are presented. Special media attention was achieved by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek, RESCUE partner, which representatives came to EV Days from Osijek with electric bicycles. This gesture was in the spirit of EV Days, which significantly contributed to the promotion of electromobility.
In addition to the exhibition part, the EV Day’s event was accompanied by a conference part where participants could get informed with the latest achievements and trends in the development of electromobility, as well as the use of sustainable energy and energy efficient systems. Special honor was given to Prof. dr Boris Dumnić from FTN Novi Sad and to Prof. dr Damir Šljivac from FERIT Osijek to be moderators of important panels about the future and development of a perspective field of electromobility.
